Revving Up Our Success: Our Technology Stack for Vehicle Hire

Over the past seven (7) months, Third Space Indigenous Corporation (TSIC) have been engaged to hire three (3) Mitsubishi Tritons to the Shire of Derby/West Kimberley’s (SDWK) Fitzroy Crossing Flood Recovery team. Our late model MY23 Tritons have been used to enable SDWK to support those affected by the January 2023 Fitzroy Crossing floods, which saw the Martuwarra, Fitzroy River, see a 100 year flood event.

In the beginnings of our vehicle hire solution, TSIC explored different technology to enable efficient and safe use of our vehicles. This included fitting our tritons with Mine-Specification aftermarket accessories including a ROPS Steel Tray, UHF and Door alarms.

What’s at the heart of our data collection and drives our technology stack is Linxio. Linxio is a game-changer for us, helping us to manage our fleet efficiently and enhance customer experiences in numerous ways:

  1. Real-Time Vehicle Tracking: Linxio enables us to monitor the precise location of our entire fleet in real time. This not only helps with logistics but also adds an extra layer of security.

  2. Enhanced Safety: The software provides us with vital insights into driver behavior, allowing us to ensure the safety of our customers and the responsible use of our vehicles.

  3. Maintenance Scheduling: Linxio assists us in scheduling regular maintenance and avoiding costly breakdowns. This ensures our vehicles are always in excellent working condition when they reach our customers. Furthermore, the system allows TSIC to coordinate efficiently with it’s clients to schedule any downtime in fleet operation and reduce inconveniences placed on clients.
